Step back in time with our Corning Ware Blue Cornflower 8 cup vintage teapot, a cherished relic from the iconic Blue Cornflower collection. Originally launched in 1958 in Corning, New York, this teapot is a testament to the enduring legacy of Corning Ware's timeless designs. Crafted from Pyroceram, a NASA-graded synthetic glass-ceramic, this teapot embodies both durability and innovation. Discovered accidentally by Corning Glass chemist Dr. S. Donald Stookey, Pyroceram could withstand extreme temperature changes, making it suitable for oven, stovetop, and even freezer use. In very good used condition, the handle and the wrap around metal are showing their age.
